Good afternoon Sacred Heart Parents and Families,
This week we welcomed fall at Sacred Heart’s Early Childhood Center (ECC). You can
feel the chill in the air and sweatshirts are needed to play outside. The children are
discovering about how leaves change colors and begin to take their winter's nap.
The Toddler classroom continues to talk about their families and practicing their morning
and lunchtime prayers and the sign of the cross. The children are quickly settling into
The Preschool classrooms enjoyed searching for leaves outside and talking about the
beautiful colors of fall. They noticed the leaves beginning to change as they took a
closer look, using our new magnify glasses thanks to the support of the Lynch Program.
The Pre-K and Kindergarten classrooms created fall hats and paraded throughout the
ECC hallways on Thursday to welcome the fall season. Learning is surely in full swing
at the Early Childhood Center.

Wednesday, September 28th- STEM Academic Night 4:30- 6:00. Please RSVP by
clicking the link on the STEM flier. We are excited to welcome families with students in
preschool through grade 2 for a fun night filled with games and learning.
Friday, September 30th- Walk-A-Thon during school hours. This fundraiser will help to
provide money for the Parents’ Association Enrichment programs at the Early Childhood
Center (ECC) as well as the Elementary and Middle School (ES/MS). We are still in need of a couple volunteers for this event and you can email the Parents’ Association at
firstname.lastname@example.org if you are interested in participating.
