Love is patient and kind,
It doesn’t envy or boast
and it’s never proud.
Love is not rude or selfish,
It doesn’t get angry easily,
or keep track of wrongs.
Love doesn’t delight in bad
things but it rejoices in the
truth. Love always protects,
trusts, hopes and perseveres.
Love never fails.
Dear Sacred Heart Families,
Basketball, chess, chorus, band, homework club, Mother/son dance . . . oh my! Lots of fun things going on here at school and I hope that you are enjoying this beautiful spring-like day!
As you know, we are currently in our re-enrollment period. If you do not want to be automatically re-enrolled, you must notify Admissions at admissions@
This past week, I have enjoyed meeting and touring with some of our current Pre-K families, Kindergarten families, as well as prospective new families. We have several shadow days scheduled for prospective new students.
5th, 6th, and 7th-grade families–please check your child’s backpack for important middle school information.
The teachers have created skill plans on IXL using the NWEA scores and recommendations. Please encourage your child to use the IXL program to help them strengthen targeted skills.
Valentine’s Day is Tuesday! Students and staff are invited to wear red and pink to celebrate Valentine’s Day. Please do not send any food or candy into your child’s class for sharing. If your child is giving out cards, please be sure to have a card for each child in the class. Thank you!
Class photos are scheduled for Wednesday, February 15th. Students should wear their regular uniforms. If they have gym on Wednesday, they should not wear their gym uniform however, they should wear their sneakers.
Calendar Raffle sales are underway! The deadline for entries has been extended. Please send in the bottom portion and the payments by Friday, February 17th. Thank you for supporting this fundraiser. Please turn them in as you sell them so we can keep a running tally. If you need more calendars, please send a note with your child or have your child ask the office. You may also print more copies using the attached PDF. Proceeds from the calendar sales will be used for new cubbies, library improvements, playground enhancements, and walkie talkies for the ECC staff for security, among other things.
