Good afternoon Sacred Heart Parents and Families,
Happy Friday to our ECC families. The theme of pumpkins can be seen throughout the
classrooms as the holiday of Halloween draws closer. The students in Pre-k are busily
working on carving, hammering, and observing pumpkins. You can smell the scent of
pumpkin pie in the toddler room as they explore their fall sensory bin. The Preschoolers
have been talking about bats and nocturnal animals. They have also been
experimenting with flashlights and shadows. This week the Kindergarten students read
and then made their own Spookley the Square Pumpkin. They also planted pumpkin
seeds inside of a hollowed pumpkin.
A big thank you to all of the families for helping to keep all of the children healthy, we
will remain vigilant with cleaning and handwashing as the winter season approaches.
We look forward to seeing everyone at Trunk or Treat tomorrow!
